12月20日(水)、本校の文化部発表会が開催されました。
ESSでは、これまでの活動記録をまとめたポスター（街頭インタビュー、韓国とのオンライン国際交流、スピーチコンテスト、英検）を作成しました。
また、インタビューをした外国人に協力してもらって作成した長田生への応援メッセージ動画と、韓国の交流相手から送られてきた動画を流しました。
文化部発表会の直前に、韓国から届いたプレゼントも展示しました。
また、展示だけでなく、”A Peek at ALT's life in America”というオンライン交流企画も
実施しました。この企画は、ALTの先生のご家族と長田高校をオンラインで繋ぎ、アメリカのご自宅を紹介してもらうというものでした。
ALTの家族（父、母、弟）の自己紹介の後、クリスマスツリーや暖炉、ALTの部屋を見せていただきました。途中、2匹のワンちゃんも登場し、生徒たちは興味深そうに画面を眺めていました。その後の質疑応答では、ESSの生徒たちが、クリスマスの食事、ALTの幼少時代についての質問をしました。
30分という短い時間の交流でしたが、教室には30人弱の生徒が集まり、ESSの展示でこんな人がいるのは見たことない！と言ってもらえるほど大盛況でした。参加した生徒は「ホームアローンみたいで良かった」、「クリスマスの雰囲気が画面越しに感じられた」といった声があり、企画して良かったなと思いました！
ESSの生徒が限られた時間の中で準備し、作り上げた文化部発表会でした。お疲れ様でした！
以下、ALTの先生からの感想です。
On Wednesday, December 20th, Nagata High School held its Culture Club Performance Day. The ESS Club presented moments from its online culture exchange and interviews with foreigners. There were also games and presents from our online exchange partners in Korea. At the end, I hosted an online exchange with my family from America! My family introduced themselves first. There was my mom, my dad, and my little brother. My mom showed the viewers my bedroom along with some old family photos. She also showed how we decorate the house for Christmas and introduced my dogs. The ESS students asked them some questions about me and life in America and we had a fun time! I miss my house and family very much and it was so good to see them again. Maybe in the future we can have another exchange and the ESS club can meet my other brother!
